Mr. Shahab Qamar Ansari
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Mr. Shahab Qamar Ansari serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sindh Energy Holding Company Limited (SEHCL) and as an Executive Director on the Board. He concurrently holds the position of Secretary Energy, Government of Sindh — a senior civil service role through which he provides strategic direction to the province's entire energy sector, including policy formulation, regulatory oversight, and coordination with federal energy bodies.
In his capacity as Secretary Energy, Mr. Ansari brings the full weight of provincial government policy to SEHCL's mandate, ensuring close alignment between SEHCL's commercial objectives and the Government of Sindh's broader energy security agenda.
Under his leadership, SEHCL has established its first sustainable revenue stream from E&P operations, expanded its exploration portfolio to 12 active blocks across Sindh, and is pursuing an aggressive drilling programme targeting transformational growth in provincial hydrocarbon revenues.
Mr. Ansari is committed to positioning SEHCL as a professionally managed, commercially driven entity that safeguards provincial energy interests while contributing to Pakistan's national energy security.
Mr. Tufail Ahmed Khoso
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Tufail Ahmed Khoso serves as Chief Operating Officer of SEHCL, overseeing the company's upstream oil and gas operations, including exploration strategy, portfolio expansion, business development, joint venture coordination, and regulatory affairs. He is responsible for driving operational performance, evaluating investment opportunities, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting the company's long-term growth objectives in the energy sector.
A distinguished upstream oil and gas professional with over 31 years of diversified experience spanning exploration, drilling, appraisal, field development, business development, portfolio management, and regulatory affairs. With more than 16 years in senior leadership, he has held prominent roles at leading Pakistani E&P companies — demonstrating exceptional expertise in strategic planning, joint venture management, commercial evaluation, and stakeholder engagement with federal and provincial institutions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Khoso has played a pivotal role in driving exploration success, acquiring high-potential assets, and implementing long-term growth strategies at the organisations he has served. Credited with over 22 oil and gas discoveries across Pakistan, he brings a proven track record of operational excellence, value creation, and leadership in complex upstream ventures, both domestically and internationally.
Mr. S.M. Fayaz Iqbal
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. S.M. Fayaz Iqbal serves as Chief Financial Officer of SEHCL, responsible for the company's financial strategy, treasury management, budgeting, and financial reporting. He oversees SEHCL's revenue streams from its E&P portfolio and ensures sound financial governance in line with the Government of Sindh's objectives.
Mr. Naseem Ahmed
Senior Manager — Reservoir
Mr. Naseem Ahmed serves as Senior Manager Reservoir at SEHCL, bringing deep technical expertise in reservoir engineering and subsurface evaluation. He plays a critical role in assessing hydrocarbon potential across SEHCL's exploration blocks and supports the company's drilling program and production optimization efforts.
Mr. Muhammad Danish Gazdar

Mr. Muhammad Danish Gazdar serves as Company Secretary of SEHCL, responsible for corporate governance, board secretariat functions, regulatory compliance, and legal affairs. He ensures that SEHCL's corporate processes adhere to applicable laws and best governance practices, supporting the Board and management in their fiduciary responsibilities.
